It's time for Friday Night High School Football! We wish all of our students and teams the best this season!  Go Sequoyah Chiefs!

Please Note: On Thursday, August 19th, we will be opening late, as we are moving our daughter, Emily, into her dorm at Georgia Tech!  We're not sure yet what time we will be opening, it will depend on the time it takes to get Emily and her things moved in and settled.  I will post updates on our website, Atlanta Reef Club Forum, Facebook and Twitter pages.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  This is a big day for Emily, and we wish her all the best as she begins her studies in Aerospace Engineering.  We are extremely proud of her achievements! 

Update on our Aquapod!  You may remember that back in January, we installed an Ecoxotic Panorama LED Strip in our 12-gallon Aquapod on the front counter.  Lots of people are asking us how pleased we are with the results, now that 7 months have passed.  Here are 2 photos:

The photo on the left was taken the night we installed the Panorama.  The photo on the right was taken recently.  The only livestock change that we've made is that we removed a rock full of green Zoanthids, as there were too many in the tank!  Some remain to start another colony.  We have also pruned the Codium from time to time.  We have been very pleased with how this tank has done since we performed this upgrade.  This tank is lit with one Ecoxotic Panorama 12-Watt Module 8000K/453nm Actinic Blue.   Each Module $99.00 and includes the power supply.
